Mercury mTAB Lite launched at Rs 6000

Kobian the manufacturer of  Mercury computing devices launched an all new tablet namely Mercury mTAB Lite at a price tag of Rs 6000/- today in India.


The new device flaunts 7 inch, WVGA, TFT capacitive display with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and resolution of 800x480px. Along with this the device is powered by 1GHz Vimicro Cortex A8 processor especially designed to give good speed and support its Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Mercury mTAB Lite flaunts both front and rear camera of power 0.3MP VGA type with a resolution 640x480 Pixels. The device has an inbuilt storage of 4GB expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

In terms of connectivity Mercury mTAB Lite provides the facility of WiFi  b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, 2G etc. To make it a complete package the device has been given 2700mAH battery. The device weighs 320 grams and is 12mm thick.

Commenting on the launch of the new device, Sushmita Das, Country Manager of Kobian Pvt Ltd said, “We are glad to announce the launch of mTAB Lite – ultra slim phablet. Wide screen, dual cameras, SIM for calling, powerful processor, OS that offers apps, games etc. are the major features required in a tablet. We at Kobian are focusing to introduce better models in the phablet segment that will meet today’s consumer demand pattern for computing devices and better prices”, and seemed to be very confident over the success of its new device.
