Micromax Bolt A61 spotted on official website

Micromax has listed yet another budget smartphone on its website, Micromax Bolt A61. Though the listing doesn't mention anything about the price, but considering the low-end specifications, we assume it to be priced well below 5K INR.

Micromax Bolt A61 features a 4 inch capacitive touch display with 480x800 pixels display resolution. Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, it has been powered by 1GHz Spreadtrum SC7710 processor supported by 512MB RAM.

The device packs a mediocre 512MB (135 MB user available) inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 16GB via MicroSD card. The 2 Mega Pixel camera embedded at the back is accompanied by an LED Flash and a VGA camera at the front.

Despite of the low-end configuration, the device supports 3G. Other connectivity options are Wi-Fi, GPRS, Micro-USB etc. The device is not equipped with GPS which might be a deal breaker for some. As usual, Micromax Bolt A61 comes loaded with many apps including Kingsoft office, Hike, Spuul, Opera and Mi Live.

Presence of 3G can make this device a good deal for entry level smartphone seekers, provided the company prices it aggressively.
