Micromax officially launches Canvas Magnus A117 Android smartphone for Rs.14999

Micromax Canvas Magnus A117, which was recently spotted selling at the online stores, is now officially announced. Priced at Rs. 14999, it’s a mid-range smartphone from the home grown smartphone maker with pretty decent features. Micromax is selling the phone on its official online store as well as in the retail stores across the country.

To remind you, features wise Micromax Canvas Magnus A117 comes with a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor along with 1GB RAM, which can provide smooth performance. It is running on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and comes with 12 MP rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording feature.

A 2 MP front facing shooter is also present in the phone for video calling. It offers 4GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It is a 3G device with HSDPA up to 42 Mbps and other connectivity features include WiFi, microUSB and Bluetooth 4.0.

Micromax has fueled it by a decent 2000 mAh battery, which company claims to offer 7 hours of talktime and 180 hours of standby time.

Micromax has also pre-loaded the phone with apps like, M! Live, M! Security, M! Unlock, Games (Fruit Devil , Dark Man, Jelly jumper), Kingsoft, Spuul, Hike, Game Hub, Opera Mini and BBM.
