Micromax Sold one million Canvas series smartphones

Micromax, India’s one of the most leading manufacturer of Mobile Phones, has made an announcement notifying us about the great success for their Canvas series smartphones. As per the company, it has sold over a million units of Canvas range of smartphones.

Canvas series was started with the launch of Micromax A100 Canvas back in mid-2012. Though the handset received a l ton of criticism due in terms of performance, but revealed the Indian market potential for affordable phablets. The successors however came with a better package and performed at par with the expectations. Canvas series smartphone, Canvas 2 and Canvas HD has also earned Micromax international recognition. The latest addition to Canvas series is Micromax A72 Canvas Viva which is a 5-inch phablet costing a mere Rs 6000.

After tasting a great success by launching Canvas 2 and Canvas HD, Micromax is now about to launch another mobile phone in its Canvas series, Micromax A115 Canvas 3D. We assume, the device will be launched by the last of this month or in the start of next month. This new upcoming device has already explored its name in the existing market because of a few recent leaks and rumors.
