With just a trio of offerings, Motorola skyrocketed in popularity and was amongst the top 10 most popular brands in 2014 as per our Mobile Phone Landscape report. The brand’s most affordably offering, the Moto E (review | FAQs), released in May last year, played an important role in helping it reach the coveted position. In fact, the device was ranked third amongst the most searched smartphones by users on 91mobiles in the price bracket of Rs 5,000 to Rs 15,000. Now, the Lenovo-owned company has brought its successor, with which it’s hoping to cement its position in the competitive and ever-changing smartphone market in India.
