HTC latest offering for 2013, the HTC M7 has become public with photos leaked on the internet.
The phone has a regular HTC candybar look with rounded edges and appears to have a matt finish on the back. It is rumoured to have a new Sense 5.0 user interface and built with the Android Jelly Bean operating system.
Reports suggest that the M7 is likely to sport a 4.7 inch full HD display with screen resolution of 1920 x 1080. It is rumoured to be powered by a 1.7 GHz quad core Snapdragon processor with 2GB of RAM. For connectivity it has 3G and 4G connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth, WLAN. An integrated back camera of 13MP and a 2MP front camera. The M7 is said to have 32GB of internal storage and a 2300 mAH battery.
Another interesting rumour we heard about the M7 is that it will come built with an infrared port on top of the phone with “learning capabilities” which will enable the M7 to be used as a universal remote control. This would let the user to use their M7 to change channels on their television or play music on their player and much more.
The phone is likely to be released at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), 2013 at Barcelona next month. The phone is likely to be launched next month but it is not yet confirmed whether the launch will happen at the MWC or in a separate event. We can only wait until the MWC launch to get any concrete information on this multi tasking phone.
