Google Nexus 5 has made another appearance online ahead of its official announcement. The Canadian telecom operator Wind Mobile accidentally opened its pre-registration page for the upcoming Nexus smartphone which has revealed all the specifications of the phone. However, the sign up page was later taken down. Company listed the phone on its pre-registration page with the tagline, “Google Nexus 5. The smart, new phone made to capture the moments that matter.”
Coming to the features, Google Nexus 5 is confirmed to arrive with a 4.95 display with the resolution of 1920*1080 pixels and 445ppi pixels density. The display is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection against scratches. It is confirmed to run on the upcoming Android 4.4 KitKat operating system version.
The phone is powered by a 2.3GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2GB of RAM. It will arrive in 16GB and 32GB internal storage models. It sports an 8MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and a 1.3MP front facing shooter. It is having WiFi, NFC (Android Beam) and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity features.
In a separate leak, images from LG’s Canadian warehouse have revealed that the company has already received the stocks of the Google Nexus 5 and it is just waiting for the official announcement of the phone to make it available to public. It also suggests that Google is going to immediately starting selling the phone after the announcement.
