One month ago, the rumor of Google’s flagship tablet Nexus 7 3G surfaced, the grapevine was getting strong, and now with proofs from nook and corner, it seems the rumor is true. In recent news, Nexus 7 3G version was spotted at Taiwanese Regulatory website, passing country’s National Communications Commission (NCC) testing.
The NCC document testified the model number ME370TG, which makes similar to normal Nexus 7 tablet of ME370T and the ‘G’ signifies 3G.
It is rumoured for long that the flagship model of Google’s tablet is to be announced on October 29 event, alongside Nexus smartphones, $99 Nexus 7 tablet and 32GB/64Gb versions of Nexus 7. However, the NCC document revealed much about tablet.
It is believed that looking at competition in the market, Google will keep the price of its 3G version under the bracket of $350. The tablet is more likely come up with 1.3GHz quad core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM, 7-inch HD display and latest Jelly Bean operating system.
According to an analyst, Google is expecting to sell about 800,000 to 1 million Nexus 7 tablets in the third quarter.
The company’s other income lines are cost per click metrics and Motorola Mobility’s operation. Google reported to generate more than $666 million up from $385 million in the third quarter a year ago from the “other” revenue. It is anticipated that the “other” revenue may have had a lot to do with the Nexus 7 tablet.
