The two budget mobile phones, Nokia 100 and Nokia 101 will hit the Indian shelves in the month of October 2011. Nokia announced these basic mobile phones in the month of August. Among them, Nokia 101 is a Dual-SIM phone and the other Nokia 100 is a single SIM mobile phone. Both the device runs on Nokia S30 platform and the devices almost looks same.
The Nokia 101 is the fifth dual SIM mobile phone from this finnish phone maker. It took a long time to adopt the dual SIM strategy, which in turn they lost the market share. Now then, multiple SIM mobiles are no differentiation factors. Regional players stepped ahead in offering better mobile phones with innovative tools and functions. However, as a big player Nokia is trying to offer something big with this models.
Nokia 101 mobile phone comes with a 103 phon loudspeaker output and 16 GB expandable memory. Along with this, the device comes with attractive offer from Airtel which provides a 100 minutes of talktime to call other Airtel mobile phones for a period of one month. Also, customers are entitled for 400 national and local sms free for 4 months period. Is the deal worth ???
Nokia 100 and Nokia 101 comes with an FM Radio and Flash light and also offers the Nokia Life Tools which keeps the user updated with market information, weather forecasts, health advice, language tuition and entertainment news to an on-board app using specially created SMS messages.
