Nokia introduces buy back scheme for Lumia 1020, offers upto Rs.13500 discount

To boost the sales of Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone, the Finnish smartphone maker has introduced a buy back offer in India. Company is offering discount up to Rs. 13,500 in exchange for selected old smartphones. Company has confirmed the offer on its official Twitter handle.


The Tweet from the company reads, “Save up to Rs.13,500 on buying #NokiaLumia1020 in exchange of  your old phone. How will spend it?”.

Recently, Apple also announced quite a similar offer under which company is offering discount of Rs. 13,000 on the purchase of Apple iPhone 5c and Apple iPhone 4s in exchange of selected smartphones. However, the Cupertino tech giant hasn’t yet confirmed the offer on its website.


To remind you, the Nokia Lumia 1020 comes with a 4.5 inch AMOLED touch screen display with 1280*768 pixels resolution along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is the first smartphone that comes with a massive 41 MP rear shooter along with optical image stabilization as well as with Xenon flash support. The phone is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor supported by 2 GB of RAM memory.

Other features of the phone include 32 GB internal storage, 1080p quality video recording, 2000mAh battery and manual adjusting of focus/shutter speed & white balance.
