Nokia has launched its X3-02 and C3-01 handsets in India. In the 'Touch and Type' segment, these phones are based on Symbian 40 (S40) operating system and come with variety of features, including 3G and Wi-fi facilities.
Commenting on this launch, T S Sridhar, general manager (South), Nokia India, said, "The latest offering to consumers was best of both the worlds, with the phones having both touchscreen facility as well as the keypad."
"The two new Touch and Type devices by Nokia are designed for those who like to stay connected and share experience with their social group," he said.
With 2.4" touch screen, Nokia C3-01 supports 3G and Wi-fi connectivity options and has an extended memory support upto 32GB. The phone comes with 5MP camera with LED Flash, Stereo FM with RDS support, Stereo Bluetooth 2.1 support, media player etc, along with dedicated messaging keys. It also offers Java support and boasts browsing and internet features. This phone is priced at Rs 9,389.
However, Nokia X3-02 supports upto 16GB memory with price tag of Rs 8,839. Nokia X3-02 is 3G enabled among others and has dedicated music and messaging keys, with just 9.6-mm width, making it one of the "slimmest Nokia phones ever", Sridhar said.
