Nokia Lumia 1020 officially unveiled with 41MP camera and Windows Phone 8 OS

Nokia has finally unveiled its highly anticipated Windows Phone 8 device dubbed as Nokia Lumia 1020 with a massive 41MP shooter camera. Nokia mentioned that it can capture highly sharper images comparing to any digital camera available in the market. The latest Lumia device comes with six physical lenses and optical image stabilization technology. Nokia also added that the phone will bring new meaning to taking photos and recording videos with smart devices.

Features of Nokia Lumia 1020 –
  • It comes with a 4.5inch AMOLED touch screen display with 1280*768 pixels resolution

  • It is powered by a 1.5GHz Dual core Snapdragon S4 processor along with 2GB of RAM memory

  • It is running Windows Phone 8 operating system

  • It comes with 32GB of internal storage and 7GB of free space on SkyDrive

  • Comes with 41MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and Xenon flash

  • Supports 1080p quality video recording and manually allows to adjust Flash, Focus, Shutter Speed, white balance and exposure

  • It is powered by a 2000mAh battery

  • Zeiss optics with six physical lenses layer


The Nokia Lumia 1020 will be available to buy in Yellow, Black and White color options. Company hasn’t yet revealed any information about launching the phone in the Asian markets including India. However, it will be available to buy in the US stores from July 26 and the pre-orders will begin from July 16th.
