Nokia seems to be trying to grab all the attention at the ongoing Mobile World Congress 2013 at Barcelona, Spain. Nokia has launched two new affordable smartphones in its Lumia series - Nokia Lumia 520 and Nokia Lumia 720, which run on latest Windows 8 Operating System.
Nokia Lumia 520 is said to be the cheapest Windows Phone 8 Smartphone. This means that Nokia Lumia 620 is no more the cheapest Windows 8 Smartphone.
Nokia Lumia 520 sports a 4 inch LCD IPS Touch Screen, which is powered by 1GHz Dual Core Processor. It packs 5 Megapixels Rear Camera, which can record 720p HD Videos. This Smartphone is fuelled by 1,430mAH battery and is priced at 139 Euros which is around Rs.10,000 in Indian currency. Nokia Lumia 520 is the successor of Nokia Lumia 510 , which is the cheapest Windows Smartphone available in the market right now.
Nokia Lumia 720 sports a 4.3 inch ClearBlack Touch Screen. You can operate this touch screen even on wearing gloves. It packs 6.7 Megapixels Carl Zeiss Rear Camera with LED flash and 1.3 Megapixels front camera. Lumia 720 features NFC and Wireless charging. It is fuelled by 2,000mAH battery and is priced at 249 Euros which is equal to around Rs.18,000 in Indian currency. It is the successor of Nokia Lumia 710.
Nokia Lumia 720 will be available in India by the second quarter of 2013. With so many launches in Lumia Series and others, Nokia is all set to give its biggest rival Samsung a tough call.
