Nokia Symbian Phones Gets Microsoft Office treat

Now, its time to party for Nokia Symbian device owners. The Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia delights the Symbian crowd with full version of Microsoft Office mobile app. The collection of productivity apps are available but limited to Nokia 701, Nokia 700, Nokia 603, Nokia E7, Nokia X7, Nokia C7, Nokia Oro, and Nokia C6-01 smartphones running Symbian OS. Soon, it reaches the other devices like Nokia N8, Nokia E6 and Nokia 500. Henceforth, users can start downloading via Nokia Software update tool on your smartphone. Alternatively, users can connect the device to your Nokia Suite on the PC or Laptop.

symbian-office-3In February 2012, Nokia surprised us by announcing OneNote, Lync 2010, Document Connection and Powerpoint Broadcast for Symbian devices. Now, the company leveraged the gap by announcing the latest set of  suite including Word Mobile, Powerpoint Mobile and Excel Mobile. With these productivity tools, users can now be able to access, create and edit the documents while on the go. The Excel mobile is an powerful tool that allows the user to create charts, or insert formulae and view rich data from everywhere. Also, the app comes with an convenient option like a single view to documents at one page. Finally, the Microsoft Office Mobile apps will soon be available at Nokia store in just few weeks ahead.
