Nokia will team up with Microsoft to enter the Tablet PC business by end of year 2012. Also, market sources indicate that the device will be running Windows 8 OS with dual-core processing chip. Nokia will apparently outsource the production to Compal and the first batch will not be less than 200,000 units.
Nokia in due-course started loving Windows OS and it delivered atleast six Windows based products in one year. Recently, Nokia quoted their interest in tablet business they might deliver a product this year. However, the delivery will be delayed until Microsoft Windows 8 is on track.
Since the tablet market is growing rapidly, Nokia's Windows 8 Tablet is expected to be high performing product and at a marginal price range. The new iPad and Samsung tabs are betting with High-resolution screen. Also, we can witness quad-core processing chips with Android adopters. So, Windows 8 and ARM processor might find the way to enter the game, but not for a long time.
