Olive to launch new Android based mobiles

Olive Telecom is an Indian based mobile phone manufacturer is set to introduce Android powered mobiles in the year 2011. The company launched OlivePad VT100, an Android 2.2 (Froyo) powered Tablet. Olive been the first Indian company to launch a tablet competing in midst of many global giants like Apple, Samsung and others. According to press release, the company chairman Mr.Arun Khanna said, Olive will introduce a new set of products lined under the Android 2.2 and will be launched in first week of March. He highlights, that it will not be just one smartphone but a whole range.

olive-pad-vt100-1Earlier, Olive is spotted with some innovative feature like using a AA sized battery in the mobile phone and etc, but it could not gather much fans. The OlivePad recently hit the market triggering the mid-range segment pricing around Rs.25000/- and this couldn't help them out. Looking forwards that this Android smartphones will at-least change things around for them.
