One in ten south koreans have Samsung Galaxy S II

|January 19 2012 |

Samsung today spoke beamingly about their latest milestone. Apparently, Samsung has sold over 5 million Samsung Galaxy S II smartphones in South korea alone. The population of south korea is roughly 48 million. This clearly shows that more than 10% of south koreans have Samsung Galaxy S II. In a crazy mobile phone industry, where owning 10% market share is considered as a great achievement, a single model of a brand owning more than 10% marketshare is quite an incredible achievement! It’s worthwhile to note than samsung commands a whopping 53% marketshare in the south korean mobile market!
