Panasonic showed off the world's first 20-inch 4K tablet at a keynote speech at CES 2013.
Alongwith the Windows 8 operating system the tablet has a 20-inch screen and 4K resolution, and is half-inch thick.
Panasonic said this huge tablet with a screen resolution of 3,840x2,560-pixel resolution and 230 pixels per inch packed into a 20-inch IPS LED-backlit LCD display is intended for designers and business users. It's a multi touch panel, but can also employ a high-resolution digital pen by Anoto. This tablet is aimed at professionals who will be able to use a stylus to manipulate graphics in the cloud.
It has a 1.8GHz Intel Core i5 34207U vPro processor on board and 4GB of RAM, and a 128GB solid-state drive.
There is a front facing camera ,but no details were revealed of its features. Also it has a 2-hour battery life, which does not make it a use on the go tablet to carry around but rather something to be used by design or architecture professionals or business persons to work in groups or with clients.
The tablet displayed at the CES event was said to be a prototype but is likely to hit the markets soon.
