Pantech unveils mobile with world's largest HD display

|January 30 2013 |Mobiles

South Korean Tech manufacturer, Pantech has recently unveiled its latest innovation, the Vega No 6,  that it claims will sport the biggest high definition display featured by any mobile across the world.

Pantech-VegaNo-6

Pantech’s Vega No 6 has got a 5.9-inch Natural IPS Pro LCD touchscreen which supports high definition videos at full resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone sports a pixel density of 373 pixels per inch.

The Vega No 6 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.5GHz accompanied by 2GB of RAM. The tremendously powered device runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) Operating System with Flux User Interface.

Pantech Vega No 6 houses an Internal memory of 32GB and a 3,140mAh battery that makes up for fluid operations for the user. The device allows its user to capture gorgeous shots with its 13 megapixel Rear Camera that the company claims will deliver an image quality nearly as good as an SLR. The device has also been complemented with a 2MP front camera for video calling and image capturing.

The Connectivity features of the Vega No 6 include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and USB.

We expect the Vega No 6 to give a tough competition to Huawei ascend Mate which at 6.1-inches has claimed itself to bear the largest display screen in the world. But the Huawei gadget bears a display resolution of 720 pixels which is far behind the HD resolution of the latest launch from Pantech that offers HD resolution at 1080 pixels.

Pantech Vega No 6 is expected to be available for sale in the month of February. No information has been revealed regarding the device availability as of now.
