Pantel launches 8 inch tablet with call functionality

Pantel, the makers of Penta Tab, have launched India’s first 8 inch tablet with inbuilt calling functionality named as Penta T-Pad WS802C-2G.

Pantel-Penta-WS802CThe tablet features an 8 inch capacitive touch screen running Android 4.0 on board. It is powered by 1.2 GHz processor accompanied by 1GB Ram and a 3D graphics accelerator. For storage it has 8GB of internal memory expandable further by 32GB. The tablet comes with a price tag of Rs 8299.

 

Pantel is also offering keyboard with inbuilt stereo-phonic speaker system for an additional cost of  Rs 1499. The company is also offering a free BSNL SIM card with 4GB of free data valid for 2 months.

Specification wise, Penta T-Pad WS802C-2G is better than the Micromax Funbook talk which is the hottest selling tablet with call facility in this price range. However, the company could have sweetened the deal offering it with inbuilt 3G functionality.

You can also consider buying Zync Z1000 for 10k which is 9.7 inch tablet with IPS display and inbuilt 3G functionality.
