Penta T-Pad WS708C tablet launched for Rs. 6,999 in India

Pantel Technologies has launched a new tablet, the Penta T-Pad WS708C in India at a price of Rs. 6,999. The device has been launched by the company in collaboration with BSNL just like it did with its previous launches.

The latest Penta T-Pad is laden with an assortment of exciting features which are fine tuned to our consumers' demands."

The device is a dual SIM tablet with voice calling facility built on Android 4.1 JellyBean operating system. It has a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen display with 800 x 400 pixels resolution. The tablet has a 1GHz Cortex A9 processor with 1GB DDR3 RAM and Mali 400 3D Accelerator GPU. The device has 4GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB via micro SD card.

It has a 2MP rear camera and a VGA front camera. The device has connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, 3G (via external dongle), 2G (via SIM card Slot), Bluetooth 2.1, Mini-USB, HDMI. It runs on a 3200mAh battery.

The tablet comes preloaded with popular Android apps such as Facebook, YouTube, Angry Birds and many more.

The company had recently collaborated with BSNL to launch WS708C’s predecessor, the Penta T-Pad WS707C. However, this device also offered voice calling facility but was a single SIM tablet. The device is likely to face competition from HCL ME Y3 which offers similar features in the same price range.
