Rediff has launched the new edition of its mail service, Rediffmail NG, which comes with value adds like mobile push. Users can now send and receive mails, lookup contacts, assign calendar tasks and set reminders from their mobiles as well as their PC. The service is priced at Rs 50 per month, inclusive of data charges (on MTNL and Airtel) and works on all platforms including, Symbian, Java and Android. Rediff promises that the service works on almost all phones available including entry level ones. Rediffmail NG on mobiles is an always-on mail service and ensures secure and seamless synchronization across the phone and PC. It also comes with multi-tasking capabilities, administrative control and SMS.
