Salora Powermaxx Z1 Gets Jellybean Update

|March 18 2013 |Mobile OS

A Jelly Bean update has been very much in the news these days. Now, Salora has managed well to stay in the talks on the Tech streets by rolling out Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) update for its Powermaxx Z1 smartphone.

Salora has announced that the next to be rolled out Powermaxx Z1 smartphone will carry Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system out of the Box. For the users who already have bought the flagship device from Salora, will have to visit SILCARE, Salora’s service center in order to get the Jelly Bean update for their device free of cost.

Salora had launched the Powermaxx Z1 in the month of January this year with Dual-SIM support, Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS, 4.5-inch IPS Capacitive Touchscreen display, 1Ghz Cortex A9 Dual-Core processor, 512MB RAM, 8MP Rear Camera, 1.3MP Front Camera, 4GB onboard storage expandable up to 32GB and a 3200 mAh battery.

The Powermaxx Z1 smartphone possesses OGS technology that makes it more power efficient and brighter along with the Zero Air Gap feature that brings along better readability and wider viewing angles as its USP. Now, to lure the buyers the device price has been downsized to Rs. 10,000 as compared its launch price of Rs. 16,000. However, even after receiving a Jelly Bean update, the device leaves behind a question mark regarding how well will it perform with its 512MB of RAM. Also, the pricing at Rs. 10,000 doesn’t promise to bring to the device a great response from the market as there are many smartphones available in the market to give it a tough competition
