Samsung brings ChatOn Instant Communication in 120 Countries

|August 29 2011 |Samsung, Mobile Web

Samsung entered the instant communication zone by offering ChatOn services. This leads the Korean maker to compete with BlackBerry Messenger and Apple iMessage services.

This service allows the users to stay connected with their friends and dear ones using any Samsung mobile phone. Users can indulge in instant conversations, group texts, exchange images and many more. This works out using an exclusive Web client which allows the user to share the content and chatting without the need of a PC user.

Mr.Ho Soo Lee, Head of Media Solution Center at Samsung Electronics said, "with ChatON, Samsung has vastly simplified mobile communications by allowing users to connect to our upcoming feature phones and all major Smartphones in the market. Users around the world can now enjoy easier and richer interactivity with whoever they want, in the format they want- this is mobile communication reinvented and democratized."

Samsung unveils the ChatOn instant messaging service in 120 countries across the globe. The service is available in 60 plus languages and forks out two functionality options. The service will gradually spread to a wider network in the coming months. Sooner, the service will be made available to tablets across the world.
