The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo is coming to India sooner than expected, priced below Rs 20,000.

Looks like Samsung is all set to release the lower-priced variant of the highly-successful Galaxy Grand smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo in India. According to the Mumbai-based independent retailer Mahesh Telecom, the phone will be available in the country in the next couple of days for Rs 19,010 (MRP), with the best buy price pegged at Rs 18,190.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo was launched in January this year, going by the listing at company’s official website in Netherlands. The price of the phone in Netherland was quoted as 260 Euros, which roughly converts to Rs 22,000.

The Galaxy Grand Neo flaunts a 5-inch capacitive display, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, 1GB RAM, and 8/16GB of inbuilt expandable storage. It sports a 5MP rear snapper along with a VGA one on the front for video calling. The phone features the usual connectivity features like Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth.

Galaxy Grand Neo Side

Price given by Mahesh Telecom feels slightly on the higher side, since the recently announced Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 is selling in the country for Rs 22,999. Samsung has just introduced two more colour variants of the Grand 2 in India, just in time for Valentine’s Day. So, we expect you to take the news with a pinch of a salt till anything gets officially confirmed about its launch in the country.
