The Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich flagship device is getting delayed for an India launch. This smartphone is the highly anticipated among the Android user group. Early reports claimed this smartphone is expected to hit the stores in second week of January. Since, the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) pushed their Android upgrades for second quarter 2012, consumers need to wait till the launch of Galaxy Nexus to experience the Android ICS.
Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the third member to the Nexus family of devices from Google. This smartphone was launched in the month of November 2011 and was supposed to enter Indian market in December 2011. Samsung posted a tweet on their official twitter page saying the tentative launch will be in the mid of March 2012. This is not the first time Samsung has delayed the launch in India. This happened in the case of earlier announced devices like Samsung Galaxy S and also Samsung Galaxy S II. Though the actual reason behind the delay is unknown, the demand for the device in USA and Europe could have created a lag in inventory. Samsung Galaxy Nexus entered the US and European markets in the month of December 2011 and January 2012. Hopefully, this time Samsung Galaxy Nexus is expected to enter the market before the announcement of Samsung Galaxy S III at MWC 2012.
Smartphones have become a necessity in today's digital age. Be it browsing the web or connecting with you...
