Samsung Galaxy Note Landed in India

Samsung launched the much awaited tab like looking smartphone Samsung Galaxy Note in India. This new Android Smartphone looks over-sized and feels hefty in ones hand. The device comes packed with all the essential goodies one expects in a smartphone and also comes with a stylus like pointing device called S Pen, which can also be used to write, sketch and artwork on the device screen.

samsung-galaxy-note_1Samsung Galaxy Note features a 5.3 inch, 285 PPI HD Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 800 px resolution. Samsung claims this to be the biggest screen ever with a smartphone device. This smart device powered with 1.4 Ghz dual-core processor and running Android OS v2.3 Gingerbread. Samsung also confirmed that this device is entitled for future upgrade to the newly launched Android OS v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Though the device looks heavy by weighing 178g, Samsung tried to frame it within 9.65mm thickness which is comparatively lesser than few other phones.

The new Samsung Galaxy Note sports an 8.0 Megapixel camera with LED flash and can record videos at 1080p HD at 24~30 fps. Also, the front panel placed with a 2.0 Megapixel camera for taking self-portrait and video calling. Samsung Galaxy Note comes with connectivity options including Bluetooth v3.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n with WiFi Direct, 3G HSPA? at 21Mbps, A-GPS and NFC (optional). The device comes with a 16GB of internal on-board memory and an external memory slot with a threshold of 32GB using microSD card. Samsung Galaxy Note is priced at Rs.34990 as an MRP. Potential buyers can bag it for a better price through online stores.
