Samsung has finally launched the 2nd gen Galaxy S smartphone in India called Galaxy S2 Plus. The Galaxy S2 Plus was first officially revealed at the International electronic trade-fair CES 2013 in early January.
One of the popular shopping portals, Infibeam has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus is priced for Rs 22900. The Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus is powered by a Dual-Core 1.2GHz processor added with 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Android OS and along with that it also has a 4.3-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display. It also equipped with 1GB RAM and has an 8GB storage capacity and can be expanded up to 64GB.
The Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus had few minor upgrades from the Samsung Galaxy S2 is the Broadcom VideoCore IV HW graphics processing unit which is now with more energy efficiency that Galaxy S2 Mali 400MP GPU chipset.
The 8-megapixel camera with LED Flash is provided at the rear and a 2-megapixel camera at the front for your video calling. It supports both 2G & 3G network with a 1650 mAh battery.
The additional features including Bluetooth v3.0, USB v2.0, NFC, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n), and A-GPS. The phone is measured at 66.1 x 125.3 x 8.9 mm and weights 121 grams.
