After Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus went on sale in India for Rs. 22,900 couple of weeks back, Samsung’s new smartphones Samsung Galaxy Young and Samsung Galaxy Y Plus have been spotted selling with various online retailers like Snapdeal and Flipkart.
Samsung Galaxy Y Plus is a mid range Dual SIM smartphone running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system on 2.8 inches TFT QVGA capacitive touch screen display with 320x240 pixels of display resolution. This device is powered with 850 MHz processor. It packs a 2.0 MP rear camera and lacks a front facing camera. It comes with an internal storage of 4GB which is expandable up to 32GB via Micro SD Card. Connectivity features include 3G HSPA 7.2 Mbps, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, USB. The device is powered by a 1200 mAh Battery.
On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Young Duos is a Dual SIM, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system based smartphone with a wide 3.2 TFT HVGA capacitive touch screen display with 320x480 pixels of display resolution. The device is powered by 1GHz processor paired up with 768 RAM. It features a 3MP rear camera but lacks a front camera. It has an internal storage of 4GB expandable up to 64GB via Micro SD Card. Its connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth. It runs on a 1300mAh Battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Y Plus and The Samsung Galaxy Young Duos are now available from for Rs.6290 and Rs.8290 respectively. The Galaxy Y Plus comes in Blue colour while the Samsung Galaxy Young is available in White, Red and Silver colours.
