Samsung officially launches Galaxy S4 Gold edition to take on Apple

Samsung has taken a new step to take on the Cupertino tech giant, Apple by launching the gold edition of Samsung Galaxy S4 flagship. The company posted two new color options available for the phone on its Samsung Gulf Twitter/Facebook social network accounts. The new two editions of the phone are called Gold Brown and Gold Pink. It looks like Samsung is taking on Apple iPhone 5S Gold edition which has been reported to be a huge success in the Asian market.

Galaxy S4 new models

It appears that the gold edition of the Samsung flagship smartphone will only hit certain markets including Gulf countries but there is no word about the release date as well as the price of the phone at the moment.

To remind you, Samsung Galaxy S4 was announced back in April this year and company has already announced three more versions of the same device. Samsung Galaxy S4 Active is announced for the adventurous users and the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom with massive 16MP camera for the photography lovers. Company also announced an affordable version of the current flagship dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini.

Galaxy S4 Gold Pink edition

In Indian market the Samsung Galaxy S4 was launched with Exynos 5 octa processor. It sports a 5 inch Super AMOLED HD display and 16GB internal storage. However, you can expend the memory upto 64GB using microSD card. There is no information if the gold edition of this flagship will arrive in India or not but we will update you after learning any official word from the company regarding this.
