Samsung rolled out Jelly Bean 4.1 update for Galaxy S3 in India

Samsung has finally rolled out Android Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy S3 users. Few days back we reported it was only available for the users in UK and US but now Indian users can also update your device with the latest version of Android OS. It is available over the air and via Samsung’s pc application Kies. So you can update your device using two different methods. Jelly Bean update will let you use new features of Android upgraded by Google.

To update your device you will need to go to Settings>>Software Information>>Update>> Allow the Update. This method is over the air and it contains 290MB of data for Jelly Bean update. Or you can connect your device to your PC and then use the Kies app to manually install this update. This update is having lots of new features like new camera filters, better keyboard etc. Notification center is having major changes. You can disable the special notifications for a certain period of time on your device.

Login screen for Android is also improved in the Jelly Bean update. You can use the voice typing feature without even having internet connectivity. You will also find new Google Now service as well as some home screen tweaks in this update. You will be able to reorganise the settings menu of your device and your phone will be having faster performance after the update.

Looks like Samsung Galaxy Note is also going to receive Jelly Bean update soon. In other news Samsung Galaxy S3 is on the top charts of selling in the smartphone segment. It is the best-selling smartphone in the whole world at the moment.
