Samsung unveils Galaxy Music Smartphone with 3” Screen

musicSouth Korea based company, Samsung has added one more product in its Smartphone portfolio with the launch of Galaxy Music. As the name denotes, the main feature of this Smartphone is music playing capability. This is for the first time that Samsung introduced an Android based Music Smartphone. Galaxy Music aims to cater the needs for music lovers.

Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich operating system would run the Samsung Galaxy Music. The OS may be upgraded to Jelly Bean. Galaxy Music has 3” QVGA TFT having 240 x 320 pixel screen and a powerful processor would provide power to the Smartphone. Although company has not disclosed the details of processor but it claims that it is a powerful one.

The Smartphone supports the major audio format like MP3, OGG, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR-NP, AMR-WB, WAV, MID, IMY, FLAC and WMA. The main feature of this music phone which sets apart from others is its SRS enabled pair of speakers on the front. Samsung is also providing 480p Pico projector in Galaxy Music as provided in Galaxy Beam. But the projector provided to this phone is WVGA variety whereas in Galaxy Beam, it has DLP projector. Galaxy Music has 3MP fixed focus camera without flash and 1300mAh Li-ion battery.

The company has also provided the option of Dual SIM in Galaxy Music in the name of Galaxy Music Duos. Samsung has not revealed the price and the availability of the Galaxy Music till date.
