Samsung Wave II To Launch In UK

The sequel to Samsung Wave smartphone is due to hit the UK stores by December. Samsung S8530 Wave II features a larger 3.7 inch display, which will be an LCD and not an AMOLED touchscreen as featured on the first version of Samsung Wave.


Like the previous one, this phone will also boast a 1GHz processor, and a 5 megapixel HD capable camera with LED Flash and 720p video recording. The phone will be based on Samsung’s own ‘Bada’ operating system v1.2.

Samsung S8530 Wave II has 1.5 GB internal storage and all kind of connectivity options including, HSDPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity; and also offers GPS support.

The price for the handset is expected to be around the £375 mark.
