Samsung Wave Y and Samsung Wave M Available in Stores now

In the recent past, Samsung along with Wave III, introduced a couple of devices Samsung Wave M and Samsung Wave Y to Wave series. Apparently, these two smart devices from the Wave family run on latest version of Samsung's own bada OS v2.0. Now, the two devices Samsung Wave M and Samsung Wave Y are available in India markets for sale at Rs.12990 and Rs.7950/-

Samsung-Wave M-1

Samsung Wave M comes with a 3.65 inches HVGA, TFT LCD Capacitive touchscreen display made with Tempered Glass for sturdy hands. The device sports a 5.0 Megapixel camera with Auto-focus and LED flash on the rear-side and 0.3 megapixel VGA camera on the front side. The rear-camera is capable of shooting videos at HVGA (480x320) at 30 fps. The device comes with a DivX player and can also playback multiple video formats. Samsung Wave M also called as Samsung Wave725 comes with NFC connectivity, a top-notch tool data transmission and mobile payments.


According to Samsung, the new Wave Y smartphone is targeted on Young Indians who're looking a better performing touchscreen device at an affordable price. At the same time, these audience might have an attachment to Samsung bada OS. The new Samsung Wave Y comes with a 3.2-inch TFT LCD touchscreen display with 320 x 480 px resolution. Wave Y sports a 2.0 Megapixel Full focus camera and comes in a 12.3 mm solid bar weighing 102.4 grams. Prepaid customers would get 500 MB of 3G data for 1 month followed by 100MB free data usage on recharge of Rs 150 in addition to talk-time benefits. 100MB offer applicable for 24 recharges or 12 months whichever is earlier. The 100 MB offer is valid for all rental plan above Rs. 149 with respect to post-paid customers.
