Simmtronics launches XPAD Freedom Android tablet for Rs.13999

Simmtronics has launched a new Android tablet in India dubbed as Simmtronics XPAD Freedom for Rs. 13,999. It comes with voice calling features and runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Company is also offering a free tablet cover worth Rs. 1,999 with every XPAD Freedom. It is a decent addition to company’s portfolio in the Indian market for this festival season.

Features wise, Simmtronics XPAD Freedom comes with a 7.85inch IPS touch screen with the resolution of 1024*768 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core processor along with 1GB RAM. In terms of memory, it comes with 8GB of built-in storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It has a 5MP rear and 2MP front facing camera. It is a dual SIM device with 2G and 3G network support.

"We are very enthralled with the introduction of this new tablet. This customized tab is designed for technology lovers who wish to use both 3G and 2G in a single device, which is enriched with a quad-core processor. We have manufactured a unibody enclosure and refined to process to be even more material-efficient and extract with tolerances measured in microns.” Indrajit S Sabharwal, MD Simmtronics commented on the launch.

Now Simmtronics is having more than 7 tablets in the XPAD series. Earlier this year, Simmtronics XPad Mini was launched with Android 4.2 for Rs. 9,999 for the entry level Android buyers. It is also having the same 7.85 inch display which is present in the latest offering by the company.
