Skype app for iOS, Android updated

Using Skype on your iPhone, iPad and Android devices was never so beautiful as it is now. Yes, the Skype app for Android and iOS has now got one of the best updates so far. The update helps in automatically start the app if it has been closed unexpectedly. More to this, several earlier bugs have been fixed with this update.

The user interface for chat in this revamped Skype app is smoother than what we had earlier. Now we can move our own video preview to any corner of the screen according to our comfortability while the video call is in process.

The new update of the Skype app for Android and iOS devices has been rolled out for the official app only. Third party Skype app for these two platforms may not get the updated interface.

The new update got new 'sign-in screen' and improved stability and accessibility on the iOS platform. Also, in the contact section more contacts can now be viewed in one click. The icons have gone smaller to give more space to information part.

On Android, the app has got restyled Instant Messaging view. Now the app has also become faster than before.

The new Skype for Android can be downloaded from Google Play Store and for iOS it can be downloaded from Apple App Store.
