You might be wondering what’s the third handset that Sony Ericsson announced. Well, it’s Xperia Acro – a smartphone launched exclusively for Japan. Xperia Acro is based on Xperia Arc handset and you can think of this as a fine-tuned Arc (Arc is not a unsophisticated handset by the mile!). The handset is powered by 1Ghz processor, 512MB RAM and Android gingerbread operating system. Has a very slim form factor; Got ExMor powered 8.1 mega pixels high quality camera; brilliant display engined powered by BRAVIA. It has got some new features such as infrared port, mobile wallet that was not originally found in Arc. Apart from very minor differences, it’s very hard understand how Arc is different from Acro.
