Sony Honami 20MP rear camera confirmed by leaked sample image

One of the highly anticipated devices this year, Sony Honami Aka Sony Xperia i1 smartphone is confirmed to be launched with a 20MP rear camera. A photo captured by the phone is leaked on Google+ which confirms that Sony has focused on providing better imaging capability in company’s next flagship Android device.

The camera sample of the phone is posted by an Employee of Sony Mobile Taiwan team, so it is kind of officially confirmed that Sony Xperia i1 is going to impress the buyers with good quality photo capturing features. Nokia Lumia 1020 is the best device in the market at the moment with its PureView camera technology and the second device is Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom with 16MP rear camera.

To remind you, Sony Honami smartphone is highly rumored to feature a 5inch full HD display with Sony X-Reality engine. It is reported to be powered by a 2.2GHz quad core Snapdragon Qualcomm 800 processor along with 2GB of RAM memory. Its 20.7MP rear camera will be having Sony G Lens and BIONZ image processing technology. It will be running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system and will be powered by a massive 3000mAh battery.

Sony has also teased the phone in teaser post that indicates the Purple color version of the Sony Xperia i1. Company is highly expected to announce this device on September 4th in a press event in Berlin before the IFA Trade fair 2013 kicks off.
