|May 23 2012 |Sony

Sony has launched its music unlimited service for iOS devices that will make Sony music available to them. Currently only the Canadian users can avail this facility. This facility lets users enjoy all kinds of unlimited world music on their iOS devices. This facility is already available for android based Sony devices.

This application can be availed officially from the Apple Application Store with nominal subscription charges starting at Rs. 200($3.99) for a month. The charges vary with the varying access to thisĀ  service of 15 million songs and over along with playback features. Downloading and installing this application will make you eligible for a 30 day free trial of it. This trial period will be free for you and will let you decide whether you want to continue using this service or not. If you decide to continue you will have to pay the subscription charges for it.

This application is available in the iTunes app stores in New Zealand. Sony has for now made this service available in 14 countries like the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand France, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Finland, Ireland and Norway. India and other countries are likely to get it soon.

Sony's app will surely find takers as its use is not restricted to Sony devices only but works for all iOS based devices. Interestingly India being a large market for such applications seems to feature quite later on Sony's priority list. They need to wake up to the changing economic markets.
