Sony’s Xperia V smartphone with HD display will now be available not before early 2013, although it was slated to appear in the market this year itself with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean running on it. This smartphone may be restricted to the French regions as per the latest report but definitely it hints to late launching.
Sony announced Xperia T, J and V this August, but now the Xperia V has been delayed. It sports a 4.3 inch HD Reality display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and Bravia engine 2 technology is packed in Xperia V for your taking.
Xperia V is water resistant with an Xperia NXT design and style. It is powered by a dual core 1.5 GHz Qaulcomm Snapdragon S4 PLUS MSM8960 mobile processor and equipped with an Adreno 225 mobile graphics chip. It packs 1 GB of RAM and comes with only 8 GB on board storage.
It is also fitted with dual band Wi-Fi support for speedy data connection, along with 4G LTE connection option. It comes with a 13 megapixel Exmor R sensor camera for quick and crisp image and to capture a full 1080p HDvideo at 30 frames per sec. There is also a front facing VGA camera for video calls.
At the outset, this device was to enter the market with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but instead Sony plans its availability directly with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It also has a 1750 mAh battery that falls short of providing a longer duration of power.
