Looks like Sony is going to launch one more color variant of its latest Android flagship smartphone, the Sony Xperia Z1. The red color variant of the phone is spotted online running on the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system version. The leaked images have appeared in Vietnam which shows the phone in shiny glamour red color. Fans of Sony devices will be happy to read the news as company’s latest flagship is coming soon in bright color edition.

The Finnish smartphone maker, Nokia popularized the trend of sharp colored phones and has surely influenced the other smartphone makers to do the same too. Recently, Apple introduced Apple iPhone 5c in multi-color variants. Even HTC has also added sharp blue and red colors to its Android flagship, the HTC One. And, now it looks like Sony is also opting the fashion of sharp colored smartphones to impress the consumers.

To remind you, Sony Xperia Z1 was introduced earlier this year in black, white and purple color models. It comes with a 5 inch full HD display with Sony X-Reality mobile engine. The phone was introduced with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean version and the leaked image suggests Sony is skipping the Android 4.3 update and will directly upgrade the device to KitKat operating system in early 2014.

We are not sure if the red edition of the Sony Xperia Z1 flagship will be released globally. Even there is no way to confirm the news at the moment as company hasn’t yet formally announced this color edition of the phone yet. However, the leaked images of the phone look pretty real. We will keep you posted more on this later, so stay tuned!
