Spice has launched the first mobile resulting from the its collaboration of China’s third largest smartphone maker Coolpad, the Spice Coolpad MI-515. The device has gone on sale on Saholic,  Spice’s own eCommerce store.

Spice Coolpad MI-515 is a high-end phablet introduced by the company to make a comeback in the affordable yet high-end smartphones which is now dominated by the likes of Micromax, Zen, Celkon etc. It sports a 5-inch qHD IPS display powered by 1.2 GHz processor and 1GB RAM. As usual, it incorporates a 4GB internal storage, which can be expanded further up to 32 GB via MicroSD card.

The device packs a 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash at the back and VGA camera at the front for video calling. though the device is focused to the niche crazy for performance and not the camera, but still it holds the capabilities to record HD videos. The device is also full on the connectivity front with 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth etc.

The main attraction of the device is its price tag. The company is selling this powerful device only for a price of Rs 9990 which makes it the cheapest Quad core phablet. If you think Micromax Canvas HD A116 sounds a bit expensive, this is the option for you.
