Spice Mi-530 launched with a price tag of Rs.13,999

Spice has launched its new smartphone Mi-530 at a price of Rs. 13,999. This phone will be one of the company’s high end smartphones offered with the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

The Mi-530 has a 5.3 inch qHD IPS display with screen resolution of 960×540 pixels offering 16M colours. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor with 1GB of RAM. For connectivity the phone offers 2G, 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth 4, USB, GPS with A-GPS, Wi-Fi, FM with recording and 3.5mm jack.

The smartphone has a 8MP rear camera with dual LED Flash and 1080p video recording and a 5MP front camera and 1080p video playback supported.

he Mi-530 has an inbuilt memory of 6 GB which can be expanded to 32 GB through a standard SD card. The Spice Mi-530 has a powerful 2550 mAH battery that gives 4 hours talk time on 2G and 29 days of standby.

The 1GB of RAM give great speed and enhance the phones performance. However, at the price it is being offered, there are many quad core processor phones available in the market which leaves Spice Mi-530 a little behind. The internal memory of 6 GB is something to applaud about the phone since it gives more storage for multimedia files and apps within the phone.

The 5MP front camera will also provide excellent image clarity for video calls. Finally, the phone has a very strong battery offering great battery life for a phone with so many features.

The Spice Mi-530 will be available soon in the market.
