Swipe Telecom has launched a new Android based tablet in India dubbed as Swipe Halo Value+ with a 7inch display along with voice calling support. Priced at Rs. 6,699, it is a successor to company’s previous tablet Swipe Halo Value which was launched in March this year. There is not much change in the specs as well as design of the new tablet comparing to its predecessor.

Features wise, Swipe Halo Value+ comes with a 7inch capacitive touch display with the resolution of 800 * 480 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor along with 1GB of RAM. It is running on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system version and might also receive new OS updates in the future. It is having 2MP rear and 0.3MP front facing shooter for video calling.

It comes in two versions, one with 512MB of RAM and the other one with 1GB of RAM with faster performance. It comes with 2G SIM slot to provide voice calling features. Connectivity features of the device include WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 and micro USB. It is having 4GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB microSD card slot.

Company has powered the tab with a decent 3000mAh battery which can surely last a lot longer on the low resolution display of the device. The 512MB version of the Swipe Halo Value+ is priced at Rs. 6,699 and the 1GB variant is priced at Rs. 6,999. It will be available to buy in the retail stores across the country pretty soon.
