Swipe launches Jelly Bean based 8-inch tablet

Swipe Velocity tab sports 8-inch HD IPS Display running Android 4.1 powered by 1GHz Dual core processor and 1GB Ram. On the downside, it doesn’t come with inbuilt 3G functionality.

Swipe is gradually strengthening its portfolio of Android based tablets in India. Soon after launching the Swipe All in one tab, the company is back in the market with the launch of Velocity tab.

Swipe Velocity tab packs an 8 inch, 1024 x 768 pixels, HD IPS 5 point multi-touch display running Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. For photography, it packs a 2 MP rear camera and for video calling it has a 1.3 MP camera on the front.

The tablet doesn’t disappoint on the configuration front as well. It is powered by a dual core Cortex A9 processor complemented with a 1GB Ram. Its 8GB internal storage can be expanded further by 32GB with the help of a Micro SD card. Other features include 3G dongle support, Wi-Fi, HDMI port and 4500 mAH battery promising a backup of 10hrs.

Swipe Velocity tab comes with a price tag of Rs 11490.
