Wireless charging can be extremely convenient, provided your smartphone supports it and you have a compatible wireless charger. However, if you have pesky kids or curious pets, you may want a safer option to keep your precious device from coming in harm’s way. And we have just the thing. Here’s a simple way to rig up a wireless charging shelf...

What you’ll need:
  • A wireless charging plate such as Nokia’s DT-900 pictured here

  • Mobihold mobile charger holder (available on eBay India)

Combine the two together, and voila, you now have a wireless charging shelf that you can use to charge your Nexus 5 (or any other smartphone that supports it). Just place your phone on it whenever it needs juicing up, and you’re good to go.
