Although it may not seem important, wrapping your laptop's adapter cable correctly can significantly increase its life. Carelessly wrapped cables tend to wear out over time, so it pays to make the extra effort. The newer MagSafe power adapters are smaller and more efficiently designed than conventional laptop adapters. The adapter cord is meant to be wrapped around the two pull-out feet at the bottom, and secured in place with the rubberised clip. It's quite simple really.
