With such an app, you can also save space on your device by deleting the ones you aren’t using much.

FacebookFacebook {Update} (Free)

Facebook's Android app now has a slew of photo-centric capabilities. With the latest update, users will be able to comment on a post with an image, a feature which was added on the website last year. Users can also upload multiple images from their devices simultaneously and will also be able to edit or delete photo albums. The refreshed app also gives the option to untag one’s profile from photos.

Not just Facebook, but its acquired photo-sharing social network Instagram has also got a massive update on Android this week. Though the app doesn’t get any new features, it dons a completely new interface. The design follows the flat UI principles, something which has become a norm these days with Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 initiating it and Apple’s also boarding the bandwagon with iOS 7. There are several performance enhancements as well, ensuring that your profile and Instagram feeds loads up quickly.

So you spend most of the time in front of your computer, and are peeved at having to check your phone for every notification you get? Notifications+ makes it super easy for you to check these notifications by mirroring them to your computer. This is done with the help of a Chrome browser extension, and you can even specify the apps from which you’d like to get notifications.

ThreesThrees! (Rs 121.27)

After its smashing debut on iOS a few weeks ago, puzzle Threes! has just landed on the Android platform. The premise of the puzzle is simple – you have to either combine 1 and 2 to form 3, or match similar numbers together. While its very easy to grasp, it's quite challenging.

This ends this week’s edition of Android apps and games of the week, but be sure to check out McAfee’s Mobile Security, which has recently been made free. Also, take a look at Crazy Taxi from SEGA which has gone free for a limited time to make way for it’s upcoming sequel Crazy Taxi: City Rush.
