Following the round of rumors about introduction of a music app from Twitter, the company today launched its Music app for the iOS and Web.
Hitting the mainstream today, Twitter Music App will assist the iOS and other web users to find new music tracks by providing recommendations that will be based on the current tracks that you will listen to. The user will be able to sample any music via plugged-in music services such as Rdio, iTunes and Spotify. The Twitter Music app also allows the user to know what his/her friends are listening to. One can also see what music artist are other users following.
The newly launched Music App is based on the platform of Twitter’s existing services and seems to have arrived taking advantage of Twitter’s popularity. It will be interesting to see how the emerging music artists and users demand help from Twitter #music to receive good response from the market
