LG Optimus G2 has plans to give a stiff competition to HTC Droid in the form of a 1080p display which offers an exciting pixel density which goes as high as 440 ppi. Rumored configuration of LG Optimus G2 includes 2.0 GHz Quad core or 2.5 GHz Krait processor, Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB Ram. Since there are no official words, we are taking these specifications as a grain of salt for now.
The launch period of LG Optimus G2 is expected to be coinciding with the launch of Samsung Galaxy S IV, which is towards the early part of 2013. It is also expected to give tough competition to Sony Yuga and M7 of HTC.
LG is clearly trying to take the competition head on post its bitter experiences of losing out due to delay in introducing Ice Cream Sandwich updates to various devices.
